What We Expect from Our Contractors

When we hire contractors, we’re looking for professionals—not just people who can do the work, but those who take ownership of their craft, communicate effectively and align with our values.

Our expectations are clear:

1. Know the Scope & Follow Instructions

When we have open positions or project-based roles, you’ll find them on our site at /current-openings/. Each listing includes everything you need to know—responsibilities, expectations, and exactly how to apply. Take the time to read it carefully. If you don’t follow the instructions, we won’t consider your application. No exceptions.

We believe in transparency. We will always include clear deliverables, timelines, and compensation upfront. We aim to ensure every candidate understands what they’re stepping into before investing time into an application or project proposal.

2. Professionalism & Ownership

We hire contractors who treat their work like a business, not a side gig. That means:

  • Meeting deadlines. No excuses.
  • Communicating proactively—early and often.
  • Taking responsibility for the success of the project, not just executing tasks.
  • Acting as a problem solver, not just an order taker. We want thinkers, not just doers.

We expect you to operate independently, with the same level of commitment and diligence that we apply to our work.

3. Clear, Direct Communication

If something isn’t working, tell us—before it becomes a problem. If you need clarity, ask. We work with professionals who don’t wait until the last minute to flag an issue or assume they should suffer in silence.

We don’t micromanage. We trust our contractors to communicate clearly, push back when necessary, and come prepared with solutions.

4. Alignment with Our Values

We work with people who respect the work, the process, and the people they’re working with. That means:

  • No acting like a gatekeeper or know-it-all—collaboration is key.
  • No ghosting or disappearing—clear communication matters.
  • A real commitment to doing great work and being a good partner along the way.

5. Getting Paid

We believe in fair pay for great work. You will always know the rate before accepting a project, and we expect transparency about your fees as well. We don’t negotiate to negotiate—but we do expect you to charge appropriately for the value you provide, not just the time it takes.

Our contracts are clear, our payments are on time, and we expect the same level of professionalism in return.

LET’S SEE IF WE’RE A FIT
